ASAIF is an open community of professionals who are interested in the development of a better understanding of the human intellect and its implications for the education of children.

The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) has approved our recent application to provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits! 

ASAIF can now give NASP-approved CPD credits.  School psychologists can now use attendance at our shorties and full-day workshops toward their required CPD hours.

THE SHORTY:

Our shorties are usually evening events (sometimes Saturday morning) and include a light meal.  They cost either $54 for members and $64 for nonmembers if registration takes place by early-bird dates.

  • Thursday, February 23: Assessing Vocabulary: What does it Mean?
  • Thursday, March 8: Assessment with ESOL Students
  • Thursday, May 17: Optimizing Instruction for Students with Special Needs through Web-Based Tools. 

FULL DAY WORKSHOPS:

  • Thursday, April 5: Woodcock-Johnson III Cognitive, Diagnostic Supplement, and Achievement Tests for Fun and Profit
  • Thursday, April 12: WIAT-III: The Good, the Bad, and the Aesthetically Challenged
    Wechsler Individual Achievement Test, Third Edition
  • Wednesday, May 16: Discovering the Mystery of Directive and Non-Directive Play Therapy

Our full day workshops include morning refreshments and lunch.  They cost $75 to $125 for members and $100 to $150 for nonmembers.
